I was surprised that Gabe didn't cry this time... I have been hesitant to take the boys back out in the snow because the previous times Gabe would just cry the whole time.. He didn't do much other than just stand there. Towards the end he started to eat the snow... and he loved watching us throw snowballs!

Adam loves to play in the snow! He also loves to swing!! He was having so much fun!

Policeman

One of the days last week at preschool, they had a policeman day. Adam loves to wear the hat and badge. They also had paper whistle, and walkie talkie.

Crazyness...

The last few days have been a little crazy... Thursday I wanted to get my prescription filled, so I called it in and they said it would be ready around 4 o'clock. So I headed to Walmart and it was a little after 4. I get there and Walmart is crazy... I think for a second that I was transported back to Target on black friday... People are everywhere.. I make my way to the pharmacy and there are 5 or 6 people in line.. Not ideal.. but could be worse.. or so I thought... after 40 minutes waiting in line I make it up to the front. FEEEWSH!!! I tell them my name. She does her stuff on the computer and then gives me this look... It's in line for being filled. Should just be a few minutes. Sit down on the bench right here and I will call you when it's ready. I sit. I wonder if I should go grab the knitting needles and yarn that I also wanted to get... but she said it would only be a few minutes... my luck would be that I would leave, they call my name and I end up needing to wait in line all over again, which is now 15 or so people long.... so I don't go look... after 15 -20 minutes the lady that had helped me leaves.. now do I just sit here and wait... do I go ask.... well I finally go up and ask.. and it's still not ready, but now atleast the new lady knows I am waiting... after 2 hours at walmart I have my prescription and no knitting stuff.... guess I will wait another week or so for those.... I run to Bloom for a few things Friday morning.. They are completely out of milk and bread.. but we did get a few other things that we needed.. and we do have enough bread and milk to last the weekend... and if the power goes out then we don't have a lot of milk to try and use up, right??

So why all this crazyness???

The Blizzard that came friday afternoon and stayed until about 5 o'clock Sat. Kyle took ally out about 9 this morning and in some places it went up to his mid thigh. Here are some pics:

School days, School days...

This was taken on Adam's first day of school! He started last Tuesday. (I know I have been a slacker, and should have posted sooner...)

His teacher said that he did really well his first day. He is very quiet. And the only time he looks sad and almost cried was when it was time to go. The teacher told him that he was going to go see mommy and he instantly got happy.

The Many Adventures of Adam the Boy...

On our way to the Bus Stop, we pass this lovely arrangement of rocks. Twice a day they get called eggs by a little boy who passes them....
(I think it is because a couple weeks ago he was given a little yellow wooden egg in sunbeams. He loves that egg. He was under the chairs during sharing time and his teacher thought for a second that he was trying to make a run for it. She asked him to come back and he said "EGG". Sure enough a few rows over was his egg.)

The next adventure is the manhole. He loves going over to it while we wait for the school bus.

The First day he said: "G, A, S, Circle!!" I had to tell him it spells gas. Now as we wait he says: "G, A, S, GAS!!!"
He also says "S, T, O, P, Octagon"

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting.....

Watching cars...
(That's what Gabriel does the whole time we are waiting. When we go pick Adam up, I don't take the stroller so Gabriel can walk and when ever a car comes by we end up walking in a circle so he can watch the car go from behind to the side to in front.)

Adam LOVES the bus. The teacher that rides with him says that he just smiles the whole time he is on it!
