We have been teaching Adam the word delicious. So when he likes something he says Mmmm delicious . This morning we were having some peach yogurt with breakfast and he says: "Mmmmm Genius!!!"

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Happy Birthday Adam!!

Adam still loves the alphabet and counting! He has been doing great in the nursery. The nursery/primary gave him a really cute birthday boy book and a Wall-e mug. Adam is really starting to play well with Gabe. Sometimes there still is a little bit of a sharing issue. He has started to call gabe many things, getting them from us of course, Gabe, Gabey, and Gabriel. It's cute to hear him say "No Gabey" when he does something Adam doesn't like or knows he's not supposed to do. "Goodnight Gabriel" at bedtime.(This one melts my heart) He has started to dance to "Yo Gabba Gabba" now and wants me to dance with him. He has started to say ok when we ask him ok. Even if he doesn't mean it. He will all of a sudden say words we didn't know he knew or where he would have picked them up, like xylophone, violin, and umbrella. He is getting so grown-up!!

Nature Preserve

So I have decided to start taking advantage of the nature preserve that we have across the street. So the last couple mornings I have been taking the boys on walks through it. This morning I tried it with Ally as well. I think maybe every couple of days I'll take ally with us. It's just so much more enjoyable for me without having to try and keep her with us and not drag us down the path. Especially towards the end because Adam starts slowing down.. and it seems like Ally just starts to go faster! Anyways.. It has been fun doing these walks and I'm glad that I started doing them. Plus since we still don't have our stuff yet.. the boys are getting real bored real fast with there toys and stuff.

We stopped at the bench and had some water and Cheerios.

Isn't it pretty!! I wish I had my camera yesterday.. We saw a buck a few yards off the path and he just stood there. He was still there on our way back, too. So I bet I could have gotten a picture. Oh well! Maybe another day!

Happy Birthday Gabriel!!

Wow.. my baby is 1!!
It's amazing how different my 2 kids are. Things that are a breeze for Gabe, Adam had a hard time with, and vice versa. Gabriel is usually always smiling! I always had a hard time getting Adam to smile for pictures. Gabe is so easy to get to smile, unless he has his fingers in his mouth!!

I love his amazing blue eyes! I love his little giggle! His snuggles are the best! I love how easy going he is! I love how he seems so quiet and then all of a sudden he is so loud jabbering away! He is definitely a momma's boy!!

Haircuts!!! Finally!!!

So, the boys needed Haircuts sooo bad!! (as you can see in the befores and afters) And we finally took them yesterday!

Gabe squirmed around and cried.. But the lady was really good and just did it. Adam is usually a complete terror when he is getting his haircut. (partially the reason we haven't gotten their haircuts, totally dreading it!) But he did so go compared to what he normally does!! He still put in a little bit of a fight, but he barely cried, and he only moved a little away from her! He usually sits and SCREAMS the whole time. The lady did a good job too. we told her ahead of time to just do it. We've been to a couple other kid places and they keep stopping and trying to make him happy, which isn't going to do anything but make it worse. I always can't believe how different they look once they get there haircut!! My Handsome Little Men!
