O.k. they didn't turn out like last year but they are still kinda cute! I made Red Velvet Cupcakes, but I didn't have enough red food coloring for them to be true red velvet but I needed to also save some red for the veins.. but they turned out a brownish, red kind of like blood so that was o.k. but the frosting didn't work like it should have, the only butter I had was spreadable and I'm sure that's why it didn't fluff. It's best to use fluffy frosting. Then I used upside down chocolate chips for the pupils. I worked with what I had so maybe they are better than last year, eh?!?
